bathroom paint

I just had tile work done, floor and shower and now I’m looking to paint the bathroom. The tile is a tanish color and I also bought a matching toilet which is called almond. I’m now looking for a color to use to paint the bathroom. Its a decent size but nothing huge. There is only one window which gives some light but nothing too much. Any ideas would be great, thanks!

Maybe a darker color tan/brownish if you want to stay in that same color. You could also try other colors like forest green or yellowgreenish or even yellowish. The color gold is great too if you want something bright, bold and shiny. My floors are tan/laminate and I used tanish and forest green paint and it looks great! I know that tan can look great with reddish, organe, orange red, green and yellowish.

You have got so many choices with the tan and almonds. Why don’t you first find a shower curtain that you love and choose an accent color from it? Here are some I like and some wall colors that I think would work:
    (with light blue walls)
    (with sage or blue walls)=&page=1
    (with light aqua walls)=&page=1(with rose-beige walls)=&index=tgt-mf-mv&field-browse=316797011&rank=pmrank&rh=&page=4
    (with warm creamy walls)=&index=tgt-mf-mv&field-browse=316797011&rank=pmrank&rh=&page=11
(with same color walls, lighter or darker)
    Hope you got some ideas!

play around with the Sherwin Williams color visualizer to find something that you like. It is the best paint visualizer on the web, imho. I like how their color palette is laid out, I like that you can search by color family & color name, the “painted” rooms look the most realistic, and it suggests coordinating color schemes. You can literally spend hours:

I think “paper white” (# 6098) would be perfect.

You can also take a photo of your room & upload it to the makeover gallery on this website:
You can get color suggestions & they’ll photoshop them onto your room so that you can get an idea of what it will look like.
