Replacing Water Valve and Installing Toilet … remodeling bathroom paint home DIY Ask Plumbing

Hi, I have a brand new bathroom (that I don’t want to paint) and the walls are tan-ish/white-ish with a grey design on top, but looking at it, it mostly looks gray. The floors are a grayish/stone tile, the sink top is that grayish color and the cabinets are almost an oak color (light brown). And finally the sink, toilet, and tub are white. Any idea of what colors would complement the walls or the floors, or anything like that? Or any idea of what theme I could use for these colors? Your answers are appreciated, thanks.

I just had tile work done, floor and shower and now I’m looking to paint the bathroom. The tile is a tanish color and I also bought a matching toilet which is called almond. I’m now looking for a color to use to paint the bathroom. Its a decent size but nothing huge. There is only one window which gives some light but nothing too much. Any ideas would be great, thanks!

Okay so the tile in the apartment bathroom is kinda brownish with some old design, the bathtube, toilet, and sink are YELLOW! not a big yellow fan or white accessorys in bathroom does anyone have anyother ideas for color schemes or themes? pictures would be helpful thank you! also the base to the sink is brown and white also not very attractive! HELP PLEASE!

The tub is cast iron and would be very $$$$ to move and replace. I’d like to find a way to make the room work. I’m not sure what color to paint the bathroom to tone town the baby blue color of the bath/sink/toilet. The tile is a beige color, I do not want to replace this either right now. What works with light blue and beige?

I am 13 and was thinking about re-doing my bathroom, which is down the hall from my room.
It’s not big at all, when you walk in theres just a mirror and two sinks to your right and a shower and toilet right in front of you, so I can’t go all and out with it, just paint the walls and get curtains or something.

I was thinking about painting it a nice light yellow color, but I need ideas.

I have a small bathroom and toilet which I would like to decorate myself but have absolutely no design ideas. I am looking for some simple, attractive designs but everything on the web seems to be too plush and costly. Does anyone have any ideas as to where I can view photos of simple bathroom designs? I am looking mainly for ideas for decoration rather than replacement bathroom furniture. Alternatively, are there any people out there with good design skills who would be willing to offer me some design suggestions?

My bathroom is teeny tiny. Well it is a half bath, but it is super little. And so I thought why not make a bigger impact in there? Everyone knows it is little so, why not have fun with it? I intend on putting cream painted wainscotting on just the wall behind the toilet, and the walls will be painted a neutral. The wainscotting will be about two thirds the way up the wall, and topping it will be beautiful crown molding leaving a sort of shelf. I am going to cut out the letters N-E-S-T and glitter them with silver glitter and lean them against the wall on the top of the molding. On one other wall I am going to place my two tiered wooden shelf and fill it with vintage bird postcards, branches, mini fake nests, fake birds eggs, sort of a collage on the shelves, and then I am going to put a painting up, which is just a plain white 8 by 10 size canvas, with a bird painted on it in navy,the bird is just a solid shape, not shaded and stuff. My towels for that room are aqua/turquoise, whatever you call it. I need to get a soap dispenser, and garbage can for that room. And I am just wanting to know if people think I am on the right track, or if it sounds really bad. Thanks.
LOL, I never thought about the fact that people would think I am telling them to nest on the toilet. Maybe I will have to at least move the lettering to another wall. Thanks for all of your suggestions.

I am home-improvement illiterate, but really need detailed instructions on how to hang the 23” wide, 28” tall cabinet on the wall. It’s probably about 15 pounds (rough estimate) unfilled, probably about 25 pounds filled (another rough estimate).
